A young man’s life was saved due to the promptness of Agra Police. Troubled by debtors, the young man had left home to commit suicide. Brother asked for help from the police. Within an hour, the police found him safe on the railway line near Raja Ki Mandi station. After convincing him he was sent home.
According to Inspector Alok Singh, in-charge of Hariparvat police station, a call came to the control room at around 5 pm on Monday evening. The caller said that his brother had left the house. Later he called and said that he was going to commit suicide. The family members are upset due to this. Appealed to the police to find his brother.
On this the police started searching. SI Anuj Phogat of the police station deployed the team after ascertaining the situation. Location also ascertained with the help of surveillance. Later, searching for the police, they reached Raja Ki Mandi railway station. The young man was found sitting on the railway line towards Billochpura. On this she brought him to the police station. Family members also reached.
Police did counselling. The young man told that an acquaintance had taken a loan from some people. In this he played the role of mediator. The said person died. On this, people are demanding the loan amount from him. They come home every day and put pressure on them. He is troubled by this. For this reason he wanted to commit suicide. After being persuaded by the police, he went home. Due to this the police also heaved a sigh of relief.
laborer commits suicide
A laborer committed suicide by hanging himself in Sulah Nagar, Narayach. Police said that the deceased is Manoj Kumar 42. He is originally a resident of Jagjivan Nagar, Terhi Bagiya. Lived on rent in Ramesh’s house in Narayach with his wife and children. Used to work as a labourer. Manoj’s wife had gone to her parents’ home two days ago. Manoj was alone at home. When brother Pawan reached home on Monday morning, he was found hanging. The reason for suicide is not known.
