So far five different people have held the CEO’s chair
Since the inception of Twitter, till now the company has been handled by five different CEOs. Recently Parag Agarwal resigned from his post and Elon Musk became the CEO of the company. Actually, the first CEO of Twitter was Evan Williams who founded Twitter in 2006. After holding this post for 2 years, he resigned and in 2008, Dick Costolo took the responsibility of this post and remained the CEO of Twitter for almost 5 years. In 2015, he resigned from the company and Jack Dorsey again took charge of the company.
Let me tell you, Jack Dorsey was the CEO of the company from 2006 to 2008. After coming to the post of Jack again, people started making many serious allegations against him and in 2022 he resigned from the post of CEO and the then CTO Parag Aggarwal was made the CEO of the company. However, Parag’s journey on the CEO’s chair did not last long and he was fired from the company as soon as Musk took over the company. Let me tell you, in 2011, Parag Aggarwal was associated with Twitter as a software engineer. He was instrumental in bringing live video calls and 280 character tweet limit on Twitter.
