Will the blue tick be removed?

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced the paid Blue Tick service for Meta’s platforms in February. At present, this service has been started in only a few countries. The company is charging Rs 1,000 per month from web users and Rs 1,200 from iOS and Android users for blue ticks on Facebook and Instagram. That is, now like Twitter, people can also get blue ticks on Facebook and Instagram by paying money. Twitter has removed the free blue ticks from the platform because the company’s CEO had earlier announced that this is not the right way of verification and that legacy i.e. free blue checkmarks will be removed from everyone’s account. Talking about Facebook and Instagram here, Meta has not made any announcement for the old Blue Tick at the moment. That is, the people who have got Blue Tick earlier in both the platforms for free, their Blue Tick will still remain on their profile. No new update in this regard has been released by the company yet.

This much money will have to be paid for Twitter Blue in India
