Ever since the takeover of Twitter by Elon Musk, something new is continuously coming in this platform. Now soon Musk is about to rollout another update, after which bots on the platform will not be able to disturb people by sending messages. Actually, what happens on the app right now is that bots keep sending messages to Twitter users all of a sudden. Due to this, their DM starts getting filled with useless messages. Recently a user had complained about this on Twitter. On this, it was told from an account named Twitter Daily News that Musk is going to bring an update soon which will limit non-followers from sending messages to verified accounts.
The purpose of bringing this update of Musk is to make it mandatory for more and more people to buy subscription of Twitter Blue. Also, by doing this, bots on the platform can also be controlled. Let me tell you, Musk has already said that in the coming times, verification will be the only way to eliminate Twitter bots from the platform. There is no other way to handle them.

But this is the disadvantage of the update
After rolling out this update of Musk, the loss will be to those people who are real on the platform and used to message people till now without verification. That is, after the update, non-followers will be able to message verified profiles only to a limited number. After this, they will have to subscribe to Twitter Blue to send messages.

After launching ‘Twitter Blue’ for Twitter users, Musk has provided many new features to Blue users. Now users can edit tweets, post long videos and do many other things on the platform which are not available to normal users.
