In the Quarsi area of Aligarh metropolis, two youths were married by middlemen and after two days the brides ran away with jewelery worth lakhs. The families complained to the police. In which it was told that the middlemen had got the marriage done by taking eighty-eighty thousand rupees. Taking cognizance of the complaints, the police have arrested two middlemen and sent them to jail.
The first incident happened with Manav Bansal of Champa Vihar Saket Colony. Manav told the police that on May 14, he was married to a girl named Neha at Chamunda temple in Khurja, Bulandshahr. The first face was shown in the same temple. Pushpa Devi, resident of Mohan Nagar Colony of Dhanipur block, Pradeep Sharma, resident of Surya Vihar, Kamlesh and Bablu played the role of middlemen in arranging the marriage. After the marriage, he sent Neha away and brought her home.
On May 15, his brothers Sonu and Pradeep took him away. While leaving, she took with her several lakhs of rupees worth of jewelery offered by the groom’s side. On May 17, when Neha’s brothers were called to send her back to her in-laws house, the mobile was switched off. The girl’s phone was also switched off. Meanwhile, it came to light that a similar incident had happened with Dinesh of his own locality.
