In Delhi’s Mahendra Park area, two brothers beat up their elder brother and threw him from the first floor over a dispute over stealing a bucket. The victim was immediately taken to a nearby hospital. Where he died during treatment. The deceased has been identified as Rajesh. Police registered a case of murder on the statement of Rajesh’s wife. Police have arrested both the accused brothers and are investigating the case.
Rajesh (34) lived in his house in Ramgarh village with his wife Savita and 12-year-old son. His two younger brothers Pawan and Suraj also lived with their family on the ground floor of this house. Rajesh used to work as a carpenter. The police officer said that on Sunday night at 10.30 pm, a woman called the police and told that her brothers-in-law had thrown her husband down from the first floor. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot. There was blood scattered in front of the house. The police came to know that the family had taken the injured Rajesh to Babu Jagjivan Ram Hospital.
The police reached the hospital and came to know that Rajesh had died during treatment. Rajesh had a serious head injury. The police sent the body for post-mortem and started investigating the case. During interrogation, Savita told the police that Rajesh went to sleep on the first floor after having dinner on Sunday night. Meanwhile, his two younger brothers Suraj and Pawan reached him. These people started interrogating Rajesh about stealing the neighbor’s bucket. Rajesh told that he has brought the bucket from where he works. Savita alleged that on this issue both the brothers started beating her and killed her by throwing her from the first floor. Police registered a case of murder on the statement of Savita. Police officials said that after investigating the matter, the accused brothers have been arrested and they are investigating the matter.
