Additional Collector, Departmental Investigation informed that today, as per the instructions of the District Election Officer, Jehanabad, 11 examined officers of the Indian Administrative Service (2023) bench at Bihar Institute of Public Administration and Rural Development (BIPARD) Gaya for the upcoming Lok Sabha general elections, 2024 in Jehanabad district. In view of this, information related to the ongoing cells like District Joint Control Room (Voter Helpline, Expenditure Monitoring Call Center and Police Control Room), VVT and VST Cell, Material Management Cell and Single Window was given.

Additional Collector, Departmental Investigation informed that a two-day training program for 11 examined officers of the Indian Administrative Service (2023) bench has been scheduled in Jehanabad district, in which the second training was given today on May 15, 2024.

In the training, information regarding the operation of District Contact Center cum Voter Helpline 1950 was given by Shilpi Anand, Nodal Officer cum Senior Deputy Collector of District Joint Control Room. It was also explained how voters can register their complaints with the help of helpline 1950 and how those complaints are processed. Information regarding the activities of CAPF was given by Sanjay Kumar Nodal Officer of Police Control Room.

VVT nodal officer Rashmi Singh explained about the work of the cell. Single Window Cell’s Nodal Officer cum Sub-Divisional Officer Vikas Kumar said that a single window has been created at the sub-divisional level for all three assembly constituencies of Jehanabad district, through this the candidates can get permission to conduct their activities. Also information was given about Suvidha Portal. Vandana Kumari, Nodal Officer cum District Supply Officer of the Material Management Cell, gave information regarding the material required for the polling station in the voting work.

Additional Collector, Departmental Investigation in Training said that today in Bihar Institute of Public Administration and Rural Development (BIPARD), Gaya, among the 11 examined officers of Indian Administrative Service (2023) bench, Garima Lohia, Tushar Kumar, Pratiksha Singh, Anirudh Pandey, Kriti Mishra, Akanksha Anand, Pradumna Singh Yadav, Anjali Sharma, Rohit Kardam, Shipra Vijaykumar Chaudhary, and Neha Kumari were present. After the training, mementos were presented to all the trainee officers of the Indian Administrative Service. In the end, the two-day training program was concluded with a vote of thanks by the Additional Collector, Departmental Investigation.
