Two Dead After Being Hit By Stone Fallen From High Rise During Construction In Mumbai Says BMC


Maharashtra Incident: A stone fell from an under-construction building in Maharashtra’s capital Mumbai, killing two passers-by. This building was in Worli area of ​​Mumbai where construction work was going on. BMC has given this information. The incident took place on Tuesday (February 14) around 9.40 pm. According to BMC, this building is in Gandhi Nagar area near Four Seasons Hospital.

As soon as the information about the incident was received, police and ambulance reached the spot and the injured were taken to the hospital. Quoting the police, the official said that during some construction work, two persons were injured when stones fell from the 42nd floor of the building. The ambulance doctor who reached the spot declared both of them brought dead. At present, the police is in the process of conducting the post-mortem of the dead. These bodies were sent to BMC’s Nair Hospital.

People died due to house collapse two days ago

Earlier, the slab of a one-storey house had fallen in Bhandup area of ​​Mumbai. Two people died when part of the house collapsed. An official of the fire department informed that some people got buried in the slab of the house due to which two people lost their lives. This incident took place when the repair work was going on in the house located in Hudipada area.

The fire department official said that two people, identified as Rajkumar Dhotre and Ramanand Yadav, were taken to the hospital, where they were declared brought dead. He told that officials of the fire department, police and local bodies reached the spot. After this, relief and rescue work was done at the incident site.
