When the police reached the spot and investigated, the deceased were identified as Manoj Jaiswal, resident of ward number three of Duddhi, and Farman Khan, resident of ward number four. Both were friends.

It is being told that Farman used to drive in a private agency, while Manoj has a medical store on Amwar road. Duddhi Kotwali in-charge Nagesh Singh Raghuvanshi said that the bodies of both were found near the new railway line laid between Duddhi-Mahuaria. Bottles and food etc. were also found nearby.
