BJP leader’s brother-in-law died in a road accident on Sunday night in Bareilly. He was going to his sister’s house on scooter. He was dragged for about 50 meters after being hit by a car in Subhash Nagar. Police reached the spot after the accident and took the car into custody.

This accident happened in front of Balaji Temple on Badaun Road in Subhashnagar area on Sunday night at 10.30 pm. Sanjeev (24), resident of village Guldiya Gaurishankar of Sirauli police station area, brother-in-law of BJP leader KP Singh Lodhi, who lives in Mandir Wali Gali, was living in his house for some days. He was undergoing veterinary training at IVRI.

On Sunday night Sanjeev was going to his sister’s house on scooty. The car coming from Badaun hit the scooter. Due to this, Sanjeev got dragged for 50 meters with the speeding car. Relatives took Sanjeev to the hospital. There the doctors declared him dead. Sanjeev is also said to be the nephew of State Livestock Minister Dharampal Singh.
