Two vegetable shops caught fire on Tuesday due to short circuit in the vegetable market in Firozabad, Uttar Pradesh. After the fire, there was an atmosphere of chaos. On receiving the information, police and fire brigade also reached the spot. Fire engines brought the fire under control.
The incident took place in Naveen Mandi located in Etawah Road area of Sirsaganj police station. Two shops of vegetable traders caught fire in the market. Vegetable traders told that vegetables worth thousands of rupees were kept in their shops. Which got burnt due to fire and caused loss worth thousands of rupees.
Vegetable trader Rajesh, resident of Nagla Jayaram, said that he had lost vegetables worth Rs 70 thousand due to the fire. Businessman Rahisuddin told that he has suffered a loss of about Rs 80 thousand. Traders are fearing fire due to short circuit.
Police station in-charge Sirsaganj Vaibhav Kumar Singh said that two shops were on fire. The fire was brought under control in time and extinguished. There has been no major damage.
