Nandgaonkar filed his nomination as an MNS candidate from Shivri assembly seat in Mumbai. According to news agency PTI, after this, on the matter of bringing the brothers together, he said that he has done this in the past also and if he gets a chance, he will do the same in future also. He said that he is a soldier of MNS, but he is also a soldier of late Shiv Sena founder Bal Thackeray.

It is noteworthy that in the year 1990, Nandgaonkar started being called ‘Giant Killer’ when he defeated Chhagan Bhujbal. During that time Chhagan Bhujbal had left undivided Shiv Sena to join Congress. About 10 years later, amid the rift between Raj Thackeray and Uddhav Thackeray, Nandgaonkar himself said goodbye to Shiv Sena.
MNS candidates in Maharashtra Assembly elections
Raj Thackeray’s MNS has so far announced candidates for more than 50 out of 288 seats. While addressing the public, Raj Thackeray always talks about carrying forward the values and legacy of the Thackeray family. In such a situation, the efforts that Nandgaonkar is making for reconciliation in the Thackeray family can further strengthen the family. In such a situation, it will be interesting to see whether MNS leaders are successful in these efforts or not?
It is known that voting is to be held on November 20 in a phase B on all the assembly seats of Maharashtra. After this, counting of votes will take place on 23 November.
