MP News: The last rites of Poonam Chand Yadav, father of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, will be performed on Wednesday. Leaders from the ruling party and the opposition will also participate in the last rites. Union Ministers Jyotiraditya Scindia, Savitri Thakur, Durgadas Uik, Madhya Pradesh government ministers, MLAs, Congress leaders and senior officials are reaching Ujjain. A large number of people from Ujjain and the surrounding areas will also reach to pay tribute to Poonam Chand Yadav.
The Bharatiya Janata Party has postponed several major programs including the membership campaign in Madhya Pradesh. Ujjain Collector Neeraj Kumar Singh quoted the family as saying that information about the last rites is coming on Wednesday morning. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav is awaited to reach Ujjain. The family members will decide on the last rites in the presence of the Chief Minister. He further said that there is news of a large number of public representatives and officials arriving on Wednesday.
