With this, food gets cooked very quickly. To promote the use of gas cylinders in the country, the Government of India runs the Ujjwala Yojana. Crores of women of India get benefit from this scheme. Women of Jammu and Kashmir will get 2 free cylinders
Assembly elections are going to be held in Jammu Kashmir. For which BJP has recently released its manifesto. In which Bharatiya Janata Party has made a big announcement for the women of Jammu Kashmir. BJP has said in its manifesto that if BJP comes to power in Jammu Kashmir. Then women of the state will be given two cylinders free under the Ujjwala scheme.

Let us tell you that currently only one cylinder is given free under the Ujjwala scheme. If BJP gets majority in the elections and forms its government in Jammu and Kashmir, then the women of Jammu and Kashmir will benefit a lot. More than 10 crore beneficiaries
The Government of India started the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana in the year 2016. Under this scheme, women belonging to poor families are given free gas connections. In which they are given gas stove and cylinder. Also, subsidy is also given on refilling the cylinder under this scheme. Currently, if we talk about the whole country, more than 10 crore women have availed the benefit of Ujjwala Yojana so far. And this figure is increasing year after year.
