UK man sued Apple for 6.3 million over his divorce with wife case registered

Apple News: Generally, technology is used to make people’s lives simpler and easier. But sometimes this technology becomes a lesson of trouble for some people for the rest of their lives. A similar case has come to light from Britain. Where a man got divorced from his wife. After which that man has filed a lawsuit of 6.3 million dollars against Apple company.

Actually the matter is related to Apple’s iMessages. According to a report by UK based publication The Times, a man has blamed Apple for his divorce. According to the man, his wife came to know about his relationship with sex workers. After which the woman divorced him. According to the man, his wife came to know about all this through the iMac feature. Where iMessages were saved even after being deleted from the phone. The man was not aware of this feature, that Apple’s sync feature keeps the messages safe on devices with the same Apple ID.

According to the Times report, the man has taken legal action against Apple through London-based legal firm Rosenblatt. In the lawsuit, the company has been accused of not knowing its function properly.

If we had known about the function then divorce would not have happened

The man who filed a case against Apple has said that if he had known about this function of Apple, he would not have got divorced. According to him, his wife came to know about this in a very wrong way. If he had explained it to his wife properly, perhaps things would have worked out and his marriage would have been saved from breaking.

Apple’s iMessages caused divorce
The person who filed the case believes that if you delete something from your phone, and you are told that it has been deleted, then you will think that the thing has been deleted forever. The person said that if the message had written that these messages have been deleted only from this device, then also you could have understood. He further said that the messages have been deleted only in this device. Saying this would have indicated more clearly. But this does not happen in Apple.
