Russian Telegram channels also confirmed the attacks by Ukrainian drones on Wednesday (August 28). It was told that the fire has been controlled and two settlements have also been evacuated.

Russia did not give complete information

Although media reports are talking about Ukraine’s attack, Russian officials have not confirmed it. In this regard, the Russian Defense Ministry and Rostov Governor Vasily Golubev said that Russia has destroyed eight Ukrainian attack drones. Alexander Gusev, the governor of the Voronezh region bordering Ukraine, said, ‘When Russia destroyed Ukraine’s drones, this fire started from the debris while no explosion took place.’

The Baza Telegram channel associated with the Russian security services reported that three tanks were burnt when two drones fell on the oil depot. Ukraine has also not made any comment in this regard. Let us tell you that Russian officials often avoid giving information about Ukrainian attacks.
