Police arrested the nephew accused of murdering a farmer in a dispute over donation in village Veerpurkalan of Elao police station area of ​​Mainpuri. Police is now searching for the second accused. On June 3, the accused father and son committed the crime by beating the farmer with sticks. Police has sent the arrested accused to jail after challaning him.

On June 2, a Bhagwat Katha was organized in village Veerpur Kala by collecting donations with the help of villagers. Last Monday, Chhote Singh and his son Shyamveer alias Shyamu killed Ummed Singh Chauhan (52) by beating him with sticks when he asked for the account of the donation. After committing the crime, the accused father and son fled from there. After the murder, the deceased’s son Pradeep filed a case against the accused father and son.

Since then, the police was searching for the accused. On Thursday, information was received that one of the accused Shyamveer alias Shyamu, who murdered Ummed Singh, was present near Kasad bridge. On this information, the police team raided and arrested him. After bringing him to the police station and interrogating him, he was challaned and presented in the court. From there, accused Shyamu has been sent to jail. The police is now raiding in search of accused Chhote Singh. ASP Rahul Mithas says that the second accused will also be arrested soon.
