Ritu Raj/Muzaffarpur:- As special as the street food items of the Mama-Bhanja Food Junction located on Club Road in the city is, the story of the uncle-nephew running the stall is equally special. It is said that the relationship between maternal uncle and nephew is very special. Actually, a pair of maternal uncle and nephew from Muzaffarpur started their business together. This business became so successful that today they have not just one but four stalls in the city. He started his business just four years ago with a small stall on Gaushala Road in the city. When the business took off, the earnings also started becoming good. Then within no time the uncle and nephew together opened stalls at four places in the city.
The stall was named after the idea given by his wife.
Stall operator Mukesh Kumar told that his first stall is in Goshala Road of the city, the second stall is in Park Road, the third is in front of 9 to 9 restaurant and the fourth outlet is in front of Redtab. He runs it along with his nephew Ravi. Actually, it was his wife’s idea to name the stall Mama-Bhanja Food Junction. There was a lot of love between Mukesh and his nephew Ravi from the beginning. Seeing this, Mukesh’s wife thought of this name, which has now become a brand in the city.
Street food is available for Rs 30 to 100
All types of street food are available at their stall. Like burger, pizza, cold coffee, momo, manchurian etc. Mukesh told that the burger, pizza and Kulhad pizza of his stall are quite famous. At Mama-Bhanja stall, you can eat street food ranging from Rs 30 to Rs 100. There is a good crowd at his stall, especially the youth. They get to eat street food of their choice here.
