The names of mafia Ajit Shahi and his associates have been included in the incident of robbery by assaulting the truck driver when the installment of the truck was due. The police arrested both the accomplices on Wednesday. The police produced the accused in the court, from where they were sent to jail. It is reported that even in the case of truck robbery, the police has taken the remand of mafia Ajit Shahi. The police will soon file a charge sheet after completing the investigation of the case.

The arrested accused have been identified as Akhilesh Singh, a resident of Chitauna in Belghat and Ramkesh alias Pappu Prasad, a resident of Rampur in Belghat. According to SO Gida Madan Mohan Mishra, Damodar Upadhyay of Shahpur has registered the case on May 1.

He says that some people stopped the truck by calling it a finance employee of a company and beat up the driver. They also took 16 thousand rupees kept in the car and forcibly pulled the truck and made it stand somewhere near Barhua. During the investigation, the name of mafia Ajit Shahi has come to the fore.

It was learned that the contract for the recovery of vehicles was taken by mafia Ajit Shahi by changing his name and he along with his accomplices got the incident done. Raising the name of the mafia and its people in the case, the police have arrested two accused. SP North Manoj Awasthi told that the accused were arrested and presented in the court, from where they were sent to jail.
