Union Budget 2023 Fm Nirmala Sitharaman All Announcements For Agriculture Sector Includes No Change In PM Kisan Yojana

Union Budget 2023: Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has presented the budget 2023-24. In the agricultural budget, it was expected to increase the amount of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, but there was no mention in the budget about PM Kisan Yojana, but some farmers will be given Rs 4,000 as the upcoming 13th installment.

In fact, since the 11th installment, the government has made e-KYC and land record verification mandatory. Lakhs of farmers have not yet completed the verification process, due to which even the 12th installment has not been transferred to their accounts. In this matter, the Central and State Governments have also said that after getting the verification done, Rs 2,000 will be given for the 13th installment as well as for the 12th installment. In this way, some farmers will get a grant-in-aid of Rs 4,000 at once.

Of course, there was no announcement related to Samman Nidhi for farmers in this year’s budget, but the mantra to reduce the cost of cultivation was definitely found, which would help in increasing the income. In simple words, this year the government’s focus was on strengthening infrastructure, increasing agricultural technology, increasing natural farming, animal husbandry, fisheries, micro fertilizer, agriculture startups and prosperity through cooperation.

Now, in order to increase the income of farmers and provide financial support in agriculture, in the budget 2023, it has been announced to increase the loan target to Rs 20 lakh crore. Especially for the people associated with animal husbandry and fisheries sector, now it will be easy to take loan.

There has been talk of launching a sub-scheme under the Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana to promote fisheries, for which an amount of 6,000 crores will be allocated. Along with this, a budget of Rs 2,200 crore has been announced to promote horticulture.
