Union Budget 2024 Expectations: Tomorrow, on 23 July, the first budget of Prime Minister Modi’s Government 3.0 will be presented. In this budget, the entire country and especially the middle class will be more focused. It will be interesting to see what kind of benefits the government provides to the people in the budget this time. So this time an estimate is also being made about the budget.

The amount of the schemes can be increased by increasing the budget in many schemes run by the government. There are discussions about the Pradhan Mantri Ayushman Bharat Yojana. At the same time, schemes like Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana are also included. So let us tell you how much money can be increased in these schemes in the budget.

Benefits can be doubled in PM Ayushman Yojana

The Prime Minister Ayushman Bharat Yojana was launched by the Government of India in the year 2018. The benefit of this scheme was to provide assistance in treatment to the poor and needy. This scheme has been brought by the Government of India especially for those who do not have money for treatment. The government provides free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh to such people.

So, it has been speculated for a long time that the government can now double the benefits given in the scheme. That is, the beneficiaries can get treatment up to Rs 10 lakh instead of Rs 5 lakh. Now the Finance Minister will present the budget tomorrow, so people are hoping that some announcement can be made regarding the increase in the benefits given in this scheme.

Money can also be increased in Kisan Samman Nidhi

Apart from the Pradhan Mantri Ayushman Bharat Yojana, there can also be an increase in the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana in this year’s budget. The Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana was started by the Government of India in the year 2019 to provide financial assistance to farmers. Under this scheme, the government sends an amount of Rs 6 thousand to the accounts of beneficiary farmers under DBT i.e. Direct Benefit Transfer.

This amount is given to the farmers in three installments of two thousand rupees each at an interval of four months. Before the budget, it is being speculated that now the government can increase the amount given under the Kisan Yojana from Rs 6000 to Rs 8000. That is, Rs 2000 can be increased in this scheme. The whole picture will be clear only after the budget is released.
