Iindia budget 2024, The first full budget of Modi Government 3.0 is being presented in the Lok Sabha. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is presenting the budget. Meanwhile, she made several big announcements for the education sector. She announced several schemes which will benefit lakhs of students. She talked about four different schemes with the help of which students, employees and women workers will all get some kind of benefit. Among the big announcements made this time, there was talk of giving loans up to ten lakhs for admission in domestic institutes and also talked about making special arrangements for the participation of women in the workplace.
Loan upto Rs 10 lakh
Those candidates who are not already availing the benefit of any government scheme will get a loan of up to 10 lakhs for studying in domestic institutes i.e. institutions of the country. This loan will be given at an interest rate of 3 percent. Under this, three percent of the total amount will be handed over directly to the students every year in the form of e-voucher.
Jobs will increase in the manufacturing sector
The government also said that jobs will increase in the manufacturing sector. About 30 lakh jobs will be given in this sector. Along with this, new courses will be introduced to make the candidates skilled and old courses will be modified according to today’s needs. This change will be done by upgrading the Industrial Training Institutes.
Participation of women will increase in the workplace
The Finance Minister also said that several steps will be taken to increase the participation of women in the workplace. For example, hostels will be opened for working women in collaboration with companies, crèches will be built and such jobs will be created in which they can contribute to the maximum.
Support Employer Scheme
It was said in the budget that work will be done for the benefit of any company which has additional employees. Such a scheme will be made which will benefit both the company and the employee. Along with this, it was also said in the budget that first timers will be supported by giving them an additional salary of one month. Companies which contribute to EPF will get help from the government accordingly.
Government help to low-paid people
It was also said in the budget that those whose salary is less than 1 lakh rupees per month will be given a help of 3 thousand rupees per month. Those whose salary is less will get government help. Vishwakarma Yojana will be expedited. Youth will get jobs under EPFO.
Internships in large companies
Candidates will get a chance to do internship in 500 big companies. During this period, they will be paid Rs. 5000 per month. The expenses of internship will not be borne by the candidate. One crore youth will get a chance to do internship. It will also be ensured that this expense does not fall on the company.
