Ashwini Kumar Choubey Accident: Union Minister Ashwini Choubey narrowly escaped a road accident on Sunday (January 15). While returning to Patna from Buxar in Bihar, a police car in the Union Minister’s convoy overturned. Just behind it was the car of Union Minister Ashwini Choubey. However, due to the presence of mind of the driver, a major accident was averted. Union Minister Ashwini Choubey took the injured policemen to the hospital. Four policemen have been injured in this accident.
Union Minister Ashwini Kumar Choubey himself gave information about this accident by tweeting. While tweeting the video of the accident, he wrote, “On the way from Buxar to Patna, the car of Koransarai police station running in the convoy has met with an accident in the canal of the road bridge of Dumrao’s Mathila-Narayanpur road.”

He further wrote that, “By the grace of Lord Shri Ram, all are well. I am going to Dumrao Sadar Hospital with the injured policemen and driver.” Recently in Bihar’s Buxar, angry protesters stopped Union Minister Ashwini Choubey’s convoy. In fact, on Thursday, Union Minister Choubey had reached protest-affected Buxar, where he had to face the anger of the people. People gathered near his car and raised slogans against him.

Nitish government was targeted
A few hours before this protest, he had targeted the Nitish government regarding the police lathicharge on the farmers. He had said that the Chief Minister and his deputy are saying that they do not know about the incident of lathicharge on farmers in Buxar. Then who is running the government? A Ghost or the Press? We will not sit silent until the farmers get justice. The policemen who are involved in this should be sacked.
Farmers’ protest against compensation for land acquisition for thermal power plant in Bihar’s Buxar turned violent on Wednesday. Protesting villagers attacked a police team and set a vehicle on fire, demanding a better price for their land being acquired for the power plant. The police tried to control the situation by lathicharge.
