Unique initiative of Jodhpur Police on New Year, people were given milk instead of challan, see VIDEO

Krishna Kumar Gaur/Jodhpur. The Police Commissionerate made a unique start to the new year 2024 by moving away from intoxication and fanfare. Giving importance to health and saving people from intoxication and frills, the traffic police, along with Jodhpur Dairy and Shri Ram Hospital, fed milk to the residents at major intersections of the city. There was a crowd of people drinking milk at many places in the city. Last night, while running a campaign under this campaign, the police gave a unique message to the people by feeding them milk. The police had made preparations for this event several days in advance and had already started giving the message to the general public by putting up big hoardings at various places in Jodhpur.

The police, with the help of Bhamashahs, welcomed the New Year by feeding the common people milk at the main intersections and roads of the city and appealed not to consume alcohol. Its new theme was also kept, which was named by the police as ‘Welcome the New Year with milk and not with alcohol’. The police also got commendable cooperation for this. Police personnel themselves handled the arrangements everywhere.

Unique message from police
Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Bhopal Singh Lakhawat told that a campaign was started with the help of Bhamashahs to celebrate the New Year with milk instead of liquor. The New Year was welcomed with milk at the main intersections of the city like Jalauri Gate, Railway Station, Pavata Circle, Khet Singh Tiraha, etc. And not only this, wherever milk stalls were set up, people were invited to drink milk. A huge crowd was seen. Some people not only drank the milk but also reached there with buckets and kettles so that they could take the milk to their homes.

This kind of event is being organized for the first time
During this, Bhopal Singh Lakhawat, ACP Narendra Dayma, Sardarpura police station officer Pradeep Daga and Dr. Sunil Chandak were present. Apart from this, milk was also organized at Riktiya Bhairuji intersection where only police personnel were seen feeding people milk. This entire event was organized in Jodhpur with the cooperation of Jodhpur Dairy and Police Commissionerate, which became much talked about with the arrival of the New Year when such an initiative was taken by the police for the first time.
