This street is famous because there are 60-70 years old shops here, where fresh namkeen is being prepared all the time. During the festive season, the demand for namkeen here increases even more.

More than 100 types of snacks
More than 100 types of namkeen are available in this street, out of which varieties like mixed namkeen, garlic namkeen, Gujarati namkeen, Indori namkeen, peanut, moong dal, and chana dal are the most special. Dharmendra Khandelwal, who has been doing namkeen business here for years, says that Gali ki Namkeen is famous because of its special flavors and secret spices. The namkeen here is prepared from peanut oil and home-ground spices, which gives it a unique taste.

Many types of namkeen at one price
The price of most namkeen here is Rs 260 per kg, and during Navratri there is a special demand for fruit namkeen. There is a lot of demand for the namkeen here even during the wedding season. Dharmendra tells that this street is filled with people from 9 am to 10 pm, where along with local people, tourists also come and taste the famous namkeen of Jaipur. In this way, the Namkeen Wali Gali of Jaipur has become an important identity of the city due to its taste and old traditions, which attracts not only the local people but also the tourists coming from India and abroad.
