US reaction on Arvind Kejriwal arrest: The Biden administration is not desisting from interfering in the internal affairs of India. The US State Department spokesperson says that we are keeping a close eye on Kejriwal’s arrest. He says that we encourage the government there for fair, timely and transparent legal process.
During a special conversation with Reuters, the US State Department spokesperson said that we encourage the Government of India for a fair, transparent and timely legal process for CM Arvind Kejriwal.

Why was Arvind Kejriwal arrested?
Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal was arrested by ED from his residence on March 21 in the liquor policy scam case. He will remain in ED custody till March 28. He said that in the meantime he will run the government from jail itself.
