Urfi Javed has revealed in a conversation with Humans of Bombay that she was only 15 years old when her picture was shared on the adult site. The actress said, “When I was 15, someone uploaded my picture on an adult site. It was a normal picture. I uploaded a photo in my Facebook profile wearing a tube top. Someone downloaded it and uploaded it on an adult site without editing it. Gradually everyone came to know about this. Everyone started blaming me. I was called an adult star. I ask where is the video? They would say, no, you are an adult star.”
Urfi ran away after father crossed his limits
Urfi Javed said that as soon as his father came to know about this, he also blamed the actress and tried to prove himself as a victim. The actress said, “My father also used to say – he is an adult star. I think my father was trying to get sympathy from these things. He was telling everyone that the adult site owners are demanding Rs 50 lakh from him. He told our relative. I knew it was impossible, but I could not say anything because he used to beat me a lot at home. I was very confused, ‘I am the victim here, why am I being killed?’ However, they were not relenting. I suffered this for two years. After the torture of father and relatives, I finally ran away from home at the age of 17.

Urfi Javed told that she fled to Delhi with her sisters and taught tuition to children and worked in a call center to survive. Then she went to Mumbai and after auditioning there did small roles in daily soaps and now she does not need any introduction.
