Fool proof arrangements have been made for competitive examinations in UP. Using Artificial Intelligence (AI), suspicious persons will be identified and confirmed through biometrics during the examination. A government order has been issued in this regard. Four different agencies will be given responsibility for different tasks related to the question paper. Only government or funded educational institutions will become examination centers. If there are more than 4 lakh candidates, the examination will be conducted in two phases.

Amar Ujala had published a prominent news about this in its June 9 issue. Additional Chief Secretary, Appointment and Personnel Dr. Devesh Chaturvedi issued a government order in this regard on Thursday and sent it to all the recruitment commissions. As per the instructions issued, unaided schools and colleges will not be made examination centers. There will be a maximum of four lakh candidates in one shift. However, there will be a relaxation in conducting the PCS examination in a single shift. There will be confidential security marks on every page of the question paper.

The Controller of Examinations will regularly inspect the agency printing the question papers. One agency will be responsible for preparing, printing and delivering the question papers to the treasury. The responsibility of delivering the question papers to the treasury, all the arrangements at the examination centre and delivering the OMR sheets to the Commission and Board after the examination will be given to another agency. The third agency will be responsible for handling the security arrangements at the examination centre. The fourth agency will scan the OMR sheets at the Commission and Board premises itself and provide the selection score of the examination.

There will be two or more paper sets for each shift

There will be two or more sets of papers for each shift. The question paper of each set will be printed through a different agency. For the sake of purity and confidentiality, the selection commissions will have to remain in touch with the top officials of the government level and the STF.
