Except Kanpur and Agra, the temperature in most parts remained between 42 degrees to 44.6 degrees. However, it still remains 6.5 degrees Celsius more than normal. At the same time, the night temperature was also recorded 6.4 degrees more than normal and the temperature in most parts remained between 29 to 32 degrees.

The period of relief will continue in eastern Uttar Pradesh

According to Atul Kumar Singh, Senior Meteorologist of the Regional Meteorological Center, the conditions of severe heat wave prevailing across the state for the last several days have improved. As a result of further drop in temperature during the next 24 hours, the area of ​​heat wave in the state is expected to decrease further. The sporadic rains that started in some parts of the state from June 19 will continue further. On the other hand, the fall in temperature in western UP will stop from June 21 and an increase in mercury can be recorded by June 23. On the other hand, the fall in temperature in eastern Uttar Pradesh may continue even after June 21. There is a possibility of getting relief from heat wave after June 22.

13 died in Awadh, 14 in Purvanchal and 15 in Kanpur-Bundelkhand

Due to heat, 75 people died in the state on Wednesday. Out of these, 13 people died in Awadh. Five people who fell ill due to heat died in Bachhrawan of Raebareli. Doctors of CHC have expressed the possibility of people dying due to heat. On the other hand, in Ayodhya also, six patients admitted in the district hospital died after being affected by heat. In Gonda also, an old man fainted and fell at the railway station and could not get up. In Barabanki, the condition of a security guard going in the sun deteriorated, so he came home and lay down. When the family took him to CHC, the doctors declared him dead. Apart from this, 14 people died due to heat in Noida-Greater Noida, 15 in Kanpur-Bundelkhand region, 14 in six districts of Purvanchal, 4 in Gorakhpur, 8 in Ghaziabad, 5 in Agra division and 2 in Pratapgarh.
