BJP has started looking for the reasons for not getting the expected success in the Lok Sabha elections. The party has sent 80 of its officials, people’s representatives and senior leaders as observers to each Lok Sabha seat. For this, 40 teams have been formed, which after finding out the ground reality of two seats each, will submit their report to the party’s state leadership by June 20. Later, a detailed report will be prepared and sent to the top leadership of BJP.

State President Bhupendra Singh Chaudhary and State General Secretary Organization Dharampal Singh gave directions in the meeting of the task force members at the BJP State Headquarters on Friday. He asked to find out the reasons for the defeat of BJP on the seats and also to investigate the equations of the won seats and submit a report. Also, he asked to investigate in detail on which seats BJP suffered losses due to sabotage and which issues hurt the most. He said that to find out the ground feedback, workers should be talked to directly so that the correct picture can come out. It should also be investigated why the voting in favor of BJP was less. Observers should also talk to the losing and winning candidates.

On Friday, while discussing the election results with the candidates of Kanpur-Bundelkhand, most of them blamed the MLAs for the defeat. Banda candidate RK Singh Patel directly blamed the MLAs and said that due to sabotage he did not even get Kurmi votes. Many candidates said that during the election, the MLAs of their area remained inactive and kept running a campaign to defeat their own party. Despite all efforts, the fragmentation of OBC vote bank could not be stopped. Let us tell you that the party also held a meeting of Awadh region on Thursday.
