The Transfer Policy 2024-25 has been approved in the cabinet meeting held on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. A total of 41 proposals have been placed in the meeting.
In the meeting, 26 out of 50 projects of Bundelkhand region have been approved. Whose total cost is Rs 10858 crore. There has been an increase of Rs 1394 crore in this.
After the meeting, Cabinet Minister Swatantra Dev Singh said that all the projects will be completed in two months.
These proposals have also been approved:
– Promoting private universities and approving one government university in every division.
– The name of the university has been shortened by removing the state from its name.
– Moradabad University has been renamed as Guru Jambheshwar University.
– Green Ghaziabad and Future University will be opened in Bareilly.
– In view of the preparations for the Maha Kumbh to be held in Prayagraj, the area has been expanded to 4000 hectares in 2025 as compared to 3200 hectares in 2019. It is estimated that about six crore people will come on Mauni Amavasya. Rs 2500 crore has been allocated for Kumbh.
– 500 bed hospital got approval in Noida. It will be constructed on 15 acres of land.
– School of Medical Research and Technology will be established for medical research in IIT Kanpur. For this, the state government will give Rs 10 crore every year. In this way, Rs 50 crore will be given in five years. The remaining help will come from the Centre.
– Under the new transfer policy, all the personnel of Group A, B, C and D in the state will be transferred by June 30. Personnel posted in districts for more than three years and in divisions for more than seven years will be removed. The pick and choose system will end. The one who is older will be removed first. A maximum of 20 percent personnel in Group A and B and a maximum of 10 percent personnel in Group C and D will be transferred.
