The Yogi government has released an amount of 120 crores to 40 highly sensitive and sensitive districts for providing relief assistance to flood-affected individuals and families, agricultural investment grants and other relief works. The Yogi government has allocated this amount to the flood-affected districts from the State Disaster Relief Fund. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has allocated an amount of 5 crores to the districts most affected by the floods and one crore each to the normally affected districts.

Earlier Rs 10 crore was released to strengthen flood preparedness

Relief Commissioner GS Naveen said that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath himself is continuously monitoring the flood affected areas. Along with this, necessary guidelines related to relief work have been given to the officials from time to time. Under this, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has allocated an amount of 120 crores to 40 districts for every possible help to the flood affected. Earlier, CM Yogi had released an amount of 10 crores to 24 flood-affected hypersensitive and 16 sensitive districts to strengthen flood preparations. The amount allocated to 40 districts by CM Yogi will be spent on relief work including relief funds to flood affected persons, their families, compensation for damaged crops and other relief works.

An amount of Rs 5 crore each was released to these districts

Lakhimpur Kheri, Balrampur, Kushinagar, Shahjahanpur, Barabanki, Sitapur, Gonda, Bahraich, Siddharthnagar, Ballia, Gorakhpur, Bareilly, Azamgarh, Hardoi, Ayodhya, Badaun, Farrukhabad, Basti, Deoria and Unnao.

An amount of Rs 1 crore was released to these districts

Maharajganj, Bijnor, Ghazipur, Mau, Ambedkarnagar, Shravasti, Santkabirnagar, Pilibhit, Saharanpur, Shamli, Aligarh, Hamirpur, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Rampur, Prayagraj, Bulandshahar, Moradabad, Varanasi, Lucknow and Kasganj.
