In Uttar Pradesh’s Mainpuri, a young man was shot dead in a dispute over just Rs 10. On Monday, the police arrested the accused. The police were also surprised to hear the story he told. The police produced the accused in the court. From where he was sent to jail.
Maheshchand Jatav, a resident of Faizpur village under Ghiror police station area, was sleeping outside a roadside grocery kiosk on the night of 12 June. Late night someone shot him dead on his temple. On Monday, the police arrested the accused Ulfan alias Gulfam alias Gulla Banjara, a resident of village Nagla Kehri. The story he told about the murder. Even the police were shocked to hear him. The murder was carried out in a dispute of just 10 rupees.

In-charge SP Rajesh Kumar told that during interrogation, the accused told that Maheshchand used to sell petrol at the kiosk. A few days before the incident, Ulfan had got petrol poured. When he asked to come later and give Rs 10 less, Mahesh refused. During this there was abusing. Mahesh had got his bike parked.

After this Ulfan went to his home on foot. Brought 10 rupees and gave it to Mahesh. It was only after the incident that he decided to take revenge. On the night of June 12, he reached Mahesh’s kiosk with a pistol. He saw that he was sleeping on the cot with a mosquito net. The accused shot her on the temple. After that came home and slept.
