Police investigating after the murder of a girl

The body of a teenage girl was found lying in a wheat field in a village under Rahra police station area. She had left home on Thursday morning. But when she did not return, the family started searching. The villagers are suspecting that she was raped and then murdered. The body has been sent for post-mortem.
Legal action is being taken. The family of a kiln worker lives in a village in the police station area. The labourer’s wife lives at home along with a daughter and three sons. He works as a laborer at another kiln. It is said that the seventeen year old daughter had gone out of the house early on Thursday.
In the afternoon, the body of the girl was found lying in a wheat field, about two hundred meters from the house. As soon as the information was received, a crowd of villagers gathered at the spot. There were no injury marks on the body but the clothes were in disarray. On receiving the information the police station also reached.
Shortly after this, Police Area Officer Deep Kumar Pant also reached the spot. Investigation of the incident was started. The villagers are suspecting that the girl might be murdered after being raped.
The police area officer said that the post-mortem of the dead body is being conducted. Its picture will be clear only after the report. At present no complaint has been given by the family members.
