In the Sultanpur Jewellery Shop robbery case, the police took action only after a thorough investigation of the evidence. The entire action has been taken in a fair and transparent manner. The misconceptions being spread about this are wrong. The Uttar Pradesh Police is working with full readiness to provide security to the people of the state and a fear-free environment to the industrial groups. During this, the UP Police has also lost its brave policemen. At the same time, many have also been injured during the action. The UP Police is working under the zero tolerance policy of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath against crime and criminals. DGP Prashant Kumar said these things in a press conference on Thursday. During this, ADG LO Abhitabh Yash and ADG Zone Lucknow SB Shirodkar were also present. Along with this, the police has also released the CCTV footage, photos and bytes of Mangesh Yadav’s mother and sister of the incident.
Mangesh Yadav had stolen the motorcycle from Jaunpur
DGP Prashant Kumar told that on August 28, at 12:45 in the day, Bharat Jewelers was robbed in broad daylight in Kotwali Nagar area of Sultanpur. Whatever action has been taken by the police so far in this regard is completely fair. Our team has gathered to present this entire incident in front of you. DGP told that a total of 12 accused were involved in the incident. Vipin Singh was the gang leader in this. Vipin, Furkan and his three companions did recce of the shop on 13 and 15 August to carry out the incident. We also have evidence in the form of video of this. Vipin and his companions are shown doing recce in the video. At the same time, the motorcycle used in the incident was stolen from Jaunpur, which was stolen by Mangesh Yadav. Many other people were also involved with him in this. To carry out the incident, the accused reached the spot in two groups. Bolero was used to escape after the incident.

Furkan, Anuj, Arbaaz, Mangesh and Ankit had entered the shop
ADG LO Amitabh Yash said that Pushpendra, W and Sachin reached the crime scene in a Bolero while Furkan, Anuj, Arbaaz, Mangesh Yadav and Ankit Yadav entered the shop. These people were directly involved in the robbery. Apart from this, Vipin Singh, Vinay Shukla, Arvind, Vivek and Durgesh were stationed in the cordon around the shop so that they could back up their companions in case of any problem and to escape from the police. All these things have also become clear in CCTV footage and technical analysis. The entire case has been revealed by STF and Sultanpur Police together.
The entire sequel was prepared with the help of technical evidence
ADG Zone Lucknow SB Shirodkar said that both the motorcycles used in the incident were stolen from Jaunpur. This has been made clear from the location. Its footage has also come to light, on the basis of which the accused was identified. The accused who owned the Bolero was arrested by Sultanpur police in an encounter on September 2. Sachin, Pushpendra and W were arrested in this. 15 kg silver, motorcycle and Rs 38,500 were recovered from them. Earlier also when the criminals were running away, some items were recovered. The help of STF and technical evidence was taken in this. After this, the entire sequel map was prepared. Vipin Singh, who was already accused in the robbery case in Surat, Gujarat, surrendered in Rae Bareli. Anuj, Arbaaz and Furkan were also involved in this. He said that under the legal process, the main accused Vipin Singh was taken on five-day remand. During this, he told that he and Durgesh are important persons in the incident. Along with this, 1.2 kg gold was recovered on the information given by Vipin Singh.
