The Uttar Pradesh government on Friday issued an order for the premature release of former MLA Udaybhan Karwaria. After the Governor’s approval, the Prison Administration and Reform Services Department has issued an order to release Udaybhan, who is serving life imprisonment in Naini Jail in Prayagraj. However, his release will happen only when it is not desired to keep him in custody in any other case.
Let us tell you that for Udaybhan’s release, he will have to deposit two sureties as decided by the DM and Commissioner of Prayagraj and a personal bond of the same amount.

Let us tell you that in the year 2019, the Additional Sessions Judge of Prayagraj had sentenced him to life imprisonment in the case of murder of SP MLA Jawahar Yadav alias Jawahar Pandit. Along with him, his brother former MP Kapilmuni Karwaria, former MLC Suraj Bhan, Ramchandra Tripathi were also sentenced to life imprisonment. Due to Udaybhan’s good conduct in jail, the DM and Police Commissioner of Prayagraj had recommended his premature release.
