Notorious don of Uttar Pradesh, Shriprakash Shukla was born on 6 October 1973 in Gorakhpur. Shriprakash Shukla did his early studies from Gorakhpur itself. And studied till intermediate from his local school. But as soon as Shriprakash Shukla took admission in Gorakhpur University, he got enrolled in the world of crime. At the age of 19, Shriprakash Shukla entered the world of crime. Because of this he could not pursue his further studies.

Had taken betel nut from UP CM Kalyan Singh

The name of Shriprakash Shukla had become another name for terrorism in Bihar and Uttar Pradesh. He was in a competition to portray himself as bigger than the system. And this proved to be his biggest mistake. In the year 1998, Shri Prakash Shukla had taken the betel nut of the then Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Kalyan Singh for Rs 6 crore.

After this, Kalyan Singh formed Special Task Force i.e. STF in Uttar Pradesh. Which laid the foundation to end the terror of Shriprakash Shukla. In September 1998, the Special Task Force of Uttar Pradesh Police encountered Shriprakash Shukla in Ghaziabad.
