The 69000 teacher recruitment case has been in discussion for four years, but the way OBC reservation became a major issue in the last Lok Sabha elections and the opposition is trying to make OBC reservation its special weapon in the upcoming assembly by-elections and the 2027 elections. In view of this, the administration and the government have started finding a permanent solution to this issue.
In the 69000 teacher recruitment case, by submitting the list of 6800 earlier, the departmental officials had in a way accepted that there was some mistake in this matter. Even after this, the issue could not be resolved. This is the reason that along with the candidates, the opposition and the allies of the BJP have also been raising this issue from time to time.
Recently Allahabad High Court has cancelled all the old lists of teacher recruitment and ordered to prepare a new list, so the state government instead of going to the Supreme Court on this issue has started working on a permanent solution so that OBC reservation does not become an issue in this recruitment in future. Clear instructions have been given by the government to the department to find a permanent solution to this matter. In this also, there should be no injustice with the future of any youth. Departmental officers are also busy in finding a solution to this by holding meetings during holidays.
Agitation of 69000 teacher recruitment candidates continues
The agitation of the reserved category candidates demanding the release of the selection list by implementing the High Court order in the 69000 teacher recruitment continued for the fifth consecutive day on Saturday. The candidates are sitting on a dharna in Eco Garden. Vijay Yadav, President and candidate of 69000 Teacher Recruitment Association, said that more than a week has passed since the High Court order came, but the department officials are deliberately postponing the matter. So that the matter gets stuck again and they do not have to do anything. He said that the agitation will continue until the demands are met.
