Bal Shramik Vidya Yojana: India has set many new milestones in the last few years, but despite this the number of poor in the country is very high. Uttar Pradesh government is running Shramik Vidya Yojana to help poor children, under which financial assistance is given to such children every month. Under this scheme, poor boys are given Rs 1,000 per month and poor girls are given Rs 1200 per month. This scheme especially aims to target those children who are orphans or are so economically weak that they cannot go to school.

Who can apply?
Only those poor children can avail the benefit of this scheme, whose one or both of their parents have died. Apart from this, children whose parents are permanently disabled will also be given help under this scheme. Children whose parents are suffering from serious illness have also been included in this scheme. However, they should not own any kind of land.

To apply for the scheme, you will also have to provide some documents, which include documents like family income, Aadhar card, passport size photo and residence certificate.
