Badaun seat has become a question of prestige for BJP, SP and BSP. Political leaders are attacking each other through their statements. Even though all three candidates are new this time, the reputation of the veterans is at stake.
BJP has fielded Durvijay Singh Shakya as its candidate by canceling the ticket of sitting MP Sanghamitra Maurya. Regarding Durvijay Singh, UP CM has said that he himself was not even a contender. Was engaged in organization work. This clearly shows that even the credibility of the CM himself with the organization is linked to the election results.
On the other hand, for SP this seat belongs to the family. Dharmendra Yadav, who comes from Mulayam Singh’s family, was MP twice. Last time we lost by a small margin. Now SP is eager to regain its prestige. Mulayam family member Aditya Yadav is the candidate. In such a situation, here also the prestige of Samajwadi Party is at stake.
Badaun seat is no less important for BSP, because Mayawati has been the MLA from Bilsi assembly seat of Badaun Lok Sabha constituency. He has made former MLA Muslim Khan a candidate to participate in the traditional Muslim voters of SP. In such a situation, BSP also wants to fully show its strength in this election.
