The Uttar Pradesh government will provide O level and Triple C courses to unemployed youth of backward classes. The online application process has been started. The objective of this scheme is to provide employment opportunities to educated unemployed youth of economically weaker backward classes by providing technical education.
Candidates should be intermediate pass and the annual income of their parents or guardians should not exceed one lakh rupees. This course will be conducted from institutes recognized by National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT).
The State Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Backward Classes Welfare and Disabled Empowerment, Narendra Kashyap, said that interested candidates can apply on the Backward Classes Welfare Department’s website till August 12. It is mandatory to upload educational and other necessary documents along with the application.
The hard copy will have to be submitted in the office of the concerned District Backward Classes Welfare Officer. The course will commence from August 27. Backward Classes Welfare Director Dr. Vandana Verma said that this initiative of the government will provide the backward class youth of the state an opportunity to become proficient in technical education and become self-reliant.
