OTR mandatory for commission’s examinations from April
UP Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has decided to introduce One Time Registration (OTR) facility to simplify the application process for selection. OTR will be mandatory from April for the examinations of the commission. No fee will be charged for this. This facility will be even better than the Union Public Service Commission. Because the OTR of UPPSC contains all the information which is required for the application. That’s why it is being considered as a better institutional effort than the Union Public Service Commission.
Actually, in the past, many candidates used to fill multiple forms for the same examination, due to which there was a possibility of disturbances. To take undue advantage of reservation, they used to apply by mentioning different castes in a fraudulent manner, which will not be possible now. Earlier there was no centralized data bank in respect of online application. Now there will be centralized data from OTR, due to which such tendencies can be effectively curbed.
Application will be canceled if more than one OTR
For OTR, a valid e-mail ID and mobile number will be required, on which the OTR number will be sent. The application will be accepted only after validating the OTP sent on e-mail and mobile number in the future advertisement. If there is more than one OTR, the application of the candidate will be rejected.
these will be advantages
Candidates will not have to repeatedly fill the details of records related to educational qualification and basic information for the examinations of the Commission.
Along with saving time in filling new application forms, candidates’ money will also be saved. There will be ample opportunity to revise the basic information.
If there is any mistake during the review, then he himself can correct it. Filling wrong information in haste or at the last moment will get rid of technical problems.
