UP Police Constable Recruitment 2023 Update: There is good news for the candidates of more than 60 thousand vacancies of constable in Uttar Pradesh Police. After relaxation in age limit, now the board has given another relaxation to the candidates. Under this, those candidates who had completed 10th in 13 years can also apply for these posts. In fact, one of the rules that Uttar Pradesh Police Promotion and Recruitment Board had come out for recruitment earlier was that there should not be a gap of more than 13 years between the date of birth of the candidate i.e. DOB and the date of passing high school.
Many candidates were not able to apply
Because of this, candidates who had passed high school within the age of 13 were not able to apply. However, in the new system the rules have been changed and those candidates who have passed 10th within 13 years can now also apply. With this relaxation, a large number of candidates will get the opportunity to apply. There were many candidates who had completed 10th within 13 years and there was no gap of at least 13 years between DOB and High School Passing Certificate.
What is written in the notice
In the notice issued in this regard, UPPRB has written that, ‘Taking cognizance of the problem/suggestion related to the restriction of date of birth in the online application and the difference of 13 years in completing high school, necessary amendments have been made in the website. You can submit your application’.
This is the last date to fill the form
In view of the many relaxations available in UP Police Recruitment, a large number of candidates are applying. According to media reports, within 24 hours of the recruitment link being activated, about two lakh candidates have filled the application form. 16 January 2024 is the last date to apply.
