Coronavirus Cases in UP: The speed of corona is increasing continuously in Uttar Pradesh. In the last 24 hours, 910 fresh cases of corona have been reported. For the first time in 10 months, such a huge jump in cases has been seen in a single day. In the capital Lucknow alone, 245 cases were reported. According to official figures, three Kovid patients died in the state on Wednesday in Ghaziabad, Meerut and Mainpuri. After Lucknow, Gautam Buddha Nagar (142), Ghaziabad (117) and Meerut (28) reported the maximum number of cases. In the same period, 613 patients got cured.
In Lucknow, 38-38 cases were reported in Chinhat and NK Road, 31 in Alambagh, 29 in Aliganj, 17 in Indira Nagar, 16 in Chowk and 5 in Gosainganj. The city’s active cases increased to 1,027. According to data from Lucknow’s chief medical officer’s office, an average of 3,000 Covid samples are being tested daily. In 24 hours, 58,758 samples were tested for Covid in UP. So far 21,36,380 Kovid cases have come in Uttar Pradesh and 23,663 deaths have occurred.
Contract tracing of new patients is being done
After increasing cases of corona in UP, the health department has also geared up. Separate OPD is being done for fever patients in hospitals. These patients are also being investigated. Apart from this, antigen test of the patients admitted to the hospital is being done so that the infection does not spread among the patients admitted here. All private hospitals and labs have been instructed to send reports to the health department. Contract tracing of new patients is being done. Apart from UP, an increase in the cases of Kovid has been registered in many parts of the country including Delhi, Maharashtra.
