The STF, which is investigating the paper leak case of RO/ARO recruitment exam, has come to know that dismissed constable Arun Kumar Singh, resident of Pratapgarh, had sent solved question papers to many people before the start of the exam on February 11 and had taken money in return. This paper was given to him by Saurabh Shukla, manager of Ganga Devi Memorial School located in Para area of Lucknow.
When STF called Arun and Saurabh and interrogated them, both of them confessed the truth. Saurabh told that he looks after the management of Para’s school there. During the polytechnic entrance examination in April 2023, a person named Ajay Sharma had told him that if he arranges for the examination (online), he will give a lot of money. He had asked to set up a lab of 500 computers, for which he was ready to pay all the money himself.
His former acquaintance Arun Singh asked him to leak the paper of RO/ARO held in February. For which Ajay Sharma also agreed. On the day of the exam, at seven in the morning, Ajay sent the PDF of the paper to Saurabh through his WhatsApp number. There was a question paper of General Studies and Hindi, all the answers of which were ticked. Saurabh sent it to Arun Singh, after which Arun sent the papers to many people. After giving the paper to Saurabh, Ajay Sharma told that it had been sent to him by Prayagraj resident Rajeev Nayan Mishra.
Many big names among those buying paper
When Saurabh saw Arun’s name in the newspaper, both of them got scared. After this Saurabh threw his mobile in the canal near Awadh intersection. Let us tell you that Arun was recruited as a constable in the state police in 2011. In 2019, he was arrested by the STF for cheating in the teacher recruitment examination, after which he was dismissed. After this he started getting papers out and copying in competitive examinations. He had sent paper WhatsApp to many people including Naveen Kumar Singh, Yogendra Vikal, Neha Dixit, Anshuman Singh, Amit Singh, Nagendra Mishra, Satyendra who runs coaching in Jhansi, Udaybhan Maurya of Uday Academy in Prayagraj, Farid Ansari, a video in Pratapgarh. According to STF, Rajiv Nayan had leaked the UP TET paper in 2021. Then STF arrested him and sent him to jail. After this, he had leaked the paper of Contractual Staff Nurse Recruitment Examination, Madhya Pradesh in 2023, in which he was arrested. Ravi Attri, who has done MBBS, had leaked the paper of AIPMT Contractual Staff Nurse Recruitment Examination and Madhya Pradesh in 2015.
