Now the South will also get support in the ongoing campaign to save the Constitution and social justice on the land of UP. This is the reason why Tamil Nadu Minister Uday Nidhi Stalin will attend the Social Justice Conference to be held in Lucknow on September 29 as the chief guest. This conference is being held on the birth anniversary of former Chief Minister of Bihar and Chairman of Mandal Commission BP Mandal.
Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi is continuously vocal on the issue of social justice. He has held conferences on social justice in Lucknow and Prayagraj. The party also benefited from this during the Lok Sabha elections. With this, Congress got six Lok Sabha seats from one. Congress has also started district and division wise conferences. In this series, a social justice conference is being organized by Social Consciousness Foundation on 29th September. This is being seen as a strategy to take forward Rahul Gandhi’s agenda. Because Stalin is also with India alliance.
Rajya Sabha member P Wilson will also attend the conference along with Stalin. Both these leaders of the South have been struggling for social justice. While Stalin has been giving controversial statements regarding union and religious issues, he is recognized as a leader fighting for social justice. Actor-turned-politician Udhayanidhi has created a new identity in Tamil Nadu. In such a situation, his coming to UP is considered politically important. This is being seen as the southern leaders supporting the political campaign going on in UP.
There will be discussion on the importance of caste census
Virendra Singh Yadav, founder of Social Consciousness Foundation Nyay and former judge of Allahabad High Court, says that this program is completely related to social justice. He told that this conference will be held on 29th in Gandhi Bhawan auditorium located in Kaiserbagh. Apart from these two leaders of the South, Dr. Ala Venkateshwar Lu, Prof. Suraj Mandal, Prof. Ratan Lal and Dr. Anil Jaisingh will also address. The importance of Mandal Commission and caste census will also be discussed in the conference.
