Mafia Atiq Ahmed and his brother Ashraf, accused in the Umesh Pal murder case in Prayagraj, have been shot dead at Calvin Hospital. Both were brought to Prayagraj for medical examination. Three assailants shot dead. It is being told that the three attackers fired while raising slogans of Jai Shri Ram.
A large number of police have been deployed at the spot. The entire area has been converted into a cantonment. STF team has reached the spot. On Saturday night, the police had reached the medical college to get both of them medical. Both were brought on remand for five days. Meanwhile, three attackers fired several rounds after entering the police security cordon.
The indiscriminate firing caused panic among the policemen present on the spot. Atiq and Ashard fell on the spot as soon as the bullet hit. Let us tell you that the attack took place on Saturday night when Mafia Atiq and his brother Ashraf were answering questions from the media.
Regarding Guddu Muslim, Ashraf could only say that ‘Main baat yeh ki Guddu Muslim’, then one of the attackers shot close to the head of Mafia Atiq. Meanwhile, Ashraf was also shot. The attackers surrendered to the police after firing. A constable was also injured in the attack.
