Opposition MLA Prabhu Narayan Singh raised the question that electricity supply is getting disrupted in the state. Low voltage is a problem in rural areas due to which even tube wells are not able to function and farmers face difficulties. He said that many times transformers get damaged due to bad weather which are not replaced for 15-15 days whereas there is a provision to replace them within 72 hours. Due to this people have to face difficulties in this scorching heat.

Responding to this, Energy Minister AK Sharma said that this government has set a record in power supply in the state in the current times. This kind of power supply has never happened before. He said that the SP member should tell where the transformers are not replaced for 15 days. If this is the case anywhere, action will be taken.

Targeting the SP government, he said that the power system has improved during our government. We have supplied record power.
