Ghazipur News: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reached Karampur in Ghazipur today (17 August). Rajkumar Pal is a resident of Karampur village in Ghazipur and was a part of the Indian hockey team that won the bronze medal in the Paris Olympics. Rajkumar Pal has been trained in hockey from the Meghbaran Singh Stadium. Where today the CM honored him and his family. Lalit Upadhyay is a resident of Varanasi but he too has received hockey training from the Meghbaran Singh Stadium.
CM Yogi announced to give Rs 1 crore each to Rajkumar Pal and Lalit Upadhyay from Meghbaran Singh Stadium and also announced to give the post of Deputy SP in Uttar Pradesh Police to Rajkumar Pal. Lalit Upadhyay was also a part of the hockey team that won bronze medal in the last Olympics and he has already been given the post of Deputy SP in Uttar Pradesh Police. CM Yogi also honored other players and coaches of Meghbaran Stadium.
