Expansion

Janata Dal United (JDU) Parliamentary Board President Upendra Kushwaha has expressed his anger over the statements of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. He said that “He is saying that he has given respect. I also felt in the beginning that the post of JDU Parliamentary Board President has been created for me by moving away from the constitution of the party, then I will get work and rights. But, I got a tingle. ” Kushwaha said that I am not even in a position to protect the interests of the party workers. Only a line was added to the constitution of the party that the national president would nominate the chairman and members of the parliamentary board. Meaning, the chairman of the parliamentary board does not even have the right to nominate members for his own board. The extent is that in two years neither this right was handed over to me nor the National President elected the members of the board.

Didn’t ask for suggestions, didn’t accept something if told

Kushwaha said that if a parliamentary board had been formed within JDU, there would have been a proper process of selection of candidates for every election. No meeting has taken place till date. What will happen when there are no members. Meanwhile, many elections, by-elections were held, but advice was not sought. The need for my advice was not felt even on occasions involving the role of the board. When I gave suggestions to the Chief Minister and the National President, they were not implemented. He can speak if I say something wrong, but nothing like this is happening. Even at the time of selection and nomination of the members of the Legislative Council, I said that if an active leader of the most backward community is brought, the message of fair share will be sent, but nothing is being heard here.

Those who were made ministers, where do they have any rights

Kushwaha said that it is the responsibility of the party to take forward a leader with leadership quality. That is why I had suggested that a person from the most backward society should be sent to the Rajya Sabha or the Legislative Council. The condition of the leaders and ministers who are confined to the region is not hidden. Ministers are not even able to get the transfer done, the officers are running the department. Kushwaha did not take the name of Madan Sahni, but kept his case in front and said that a minister even offered to resign if he could not exercise his powers. What is this? Is this standard position?

Nitish had asked for a share from Lalu, then…

Surrounded by the matter of asking for a share, Kushwaha said that I will not go without taking a share. Today, those who make fun of the matter of share, remember that during the rally held at Gandhi Maidan on February 12, 1994, Nitish Kumar and Lalu Prasad Yadav had also asked for a share. Today, Upendra Kushwaha is also demanding the same share, so how is it illegitimate. And, if Chief Minister Nitish Kumar did not love me just for speaking, he would not have talked about driving me away or running away.

Intimidation of making MLC to the one who left the post of minister! take back

Kushwaha said that the one who left the post of Union Minister of State along with the membership of Rajya Sabha is being bullied that he was done a favor by being made a member of the Legislative Council. Responding to several leaders, including JDU state president Umesh Kushwaha, who made such statements together without naming them, Upendra Kushwaha said that those who speak like this have to understand that I am not doing a government job. This is also a lollipop. If the party wants, it can return both the MLC and the Chairman of the Parliamentary Board.
